One-key Reverse Gear System

– For Losi 5ive-T, Losi Mini WRC

This kit is also called automatic reverse gearsystem, and enables large scale car Losi 5ive-T to move forward and backward by a switch on remote control.

How it works

It consists of 2 gear sets: forward gears and reverse gears.

• Forward gear ratio: 20T:57T
• Reverse gear ratio: 17T:54T

A reverse idle wheel is inserted between main gear and reverse gear. The idler serves to change direction. The reverse switch can be set on channel 3. Flip the switch, shift fork will move the idle wheel to engage forward gear. Flip the switch after car stops, servo works the fork to reverse shift.

Transmission Gear Set

All gears are made of high carbon steel at high precision, and therefore long life and good abrasion resistance. All gears have a bearing in the middle, and all high speed bearings, therefore smooth movement.

Main Reverse Gear Set

It comprises an idle wheel, shaft, transmission gears, high speed bearings and drive cups. The idle wheel is seated on the hex middle of the shaft. Its forward and backward movement will change the shift.

Shift Fork Mechanism

It comprises shift fork, idle gear, shift rail and cover. This mechanism connects with servo and serves to push the idle wheel back and forth to change the shift. It’s oiled through a hole on the cover.

Clutch Gear Set

It serves to transmit engine’s torsion, and comprises clutch bell, 17T gear and 20T gear.
