6 Months Limited Warranty
This warranty is applicable to only vehicle roller version, that means electronics are not covered by this warranty. This warranty is intended for only our dealers and users who make purchase directly from FID Racing. Our dealers will handle the warranty claim for the products purchased from them.
If you need to make a warranty claim to us and it is applicable, please contact us directly. We’ll need some information. We will review your claim and reply to you within 1-3 business days via email. Keep in mind that sometimes our warranty emails will end up in your spam folder, so be sure to check there as well when waiting on a reply.
If you have a vehicle problem, please describe it clearly and our person may have some questions. Be very descriptive as to what the problem seems to be, and list any details about what troubleshooting has been done to try and get to the root of the problem. If you spoke to someone through email or over the phone, please list their name so we can get more information before asking questions you may have already answered.
Since these are hobby-grade vehicles, the vehicles are intended to be worked on by the customer (even in warranty situations in which we send out parts to be replaced). In rare situations will we accept the vehicle to be sent back to us for evaluation or repair, but you must have approval to do so before shipping your items to us. If deemed to be covered under warranty, the customer is responsible for shipping the vehicle to us, and we will cover the parts, labor, and shipping back to you. If not covered under warranty, FID Racing reserves the right to refuse to service the vehicle, and the customer will be responsible for the purchase of any non-warranty parts, as well as the shipping charges to have the items sent back.
If you have a specific part problem, FID Racing will determine if the issue in question is covered under warranty and will contact you within 1-3 business days after receiving your email. If determined that the part or parts are covered under warranty, FID Racing will send you the part(s) at no charge and cover the shipping costs for the replacement parts. We may ask for photos or that some parts be returned prior to sending out replacement parts.
Items Not Covered
It’s important to note that warranties do not cover breakage due to abuse, improper break-in, improper setup, or improper operation. Additionally, FID Racing does not cover crash damage, component failure, or premature wear as a result of crash damage. Normal wear and tear of the product, such as worn-out drive train, drive shafts, suspension components, gears including spur, clutch, clutch-bell, clutch springs, brakes, bearings, belts, and tires, are also not covered under warranty.
Lastly, water damage or problems resulting from water intake and pull start mechanism issues are not covered under this warranty.
- Crash damage
- Component failure or premature wear as a result of crash damage
- Lack of maintenance, improper use or abuse
- Normal wear and tear of the product: e.g., worn-out drive train, drive shafts, suspension components, gears including spur, clutch, clutch-bell, clutch springs, brakes, bearings, belts and tires
- Water damage or problems resulting from water intake
- Pull start mechanism
General Warranty Information
Warranties are only valid if the items were purchased as new. These warranties cover defects with the materials, workmanship, or assembly at factory only. Replacement parts and warranty approvals are at the sole discretion of FID Racing. If a defect in materials, workmanship, or assembly at the factory is found before the product has been used, FID Racing will exchange the entire product assuming that it is returned new, unused and in its original packaging. However, FID Racing does not offer a new-for-old warranty after the product has been used. Once the product has been used, FID Racing offers a component-level warranty and will assist in replacing the defective components and repairs at their sole discretion. These warranties do not cover breakage due to abuse, improper break-in, improper setup, or improper operation.
